making things creates a lot of waste. while we endeavour to recycle what we can at gutterbikes, we’re also attempting to sidestep the recycling stream by making valuable objects out of what most would consider scrap.

the brazen ring is a mixed metal ring made with stainless offcuts from lasercutting, and joined using the waste end of bronze manganese brazing rods from the framebuilding process. they have a hammered effect with a brushed finish, and the bronze will organically react to the wearer and environment to oxidise and patina over time.
